Avian Flu Alert

We are advising our clients to take precautionary measures to protect their beloved cats and dogs. The spread of the Avian Flu is now hitting most of California and the other western states.

Currently a few pet cats and a large number of large cats such as tigers, mountain lions, and bobcats have succumbed to the Avian Flu. Dairy cattle have also been infected. At this time, no dogs have been diagnosed and/or infected.

The State of California has issued emergency protocols for handling raw milk and raw meat, as well as recommending no ingestion of these products.
